Address-change suspension
Google Business Profile suspended after an address change
An address, hidden-address, or service-area edit can create a mismatch between the profile and the documents you plan to use in an appeal. Before drafting, build a short evidence map that explains the business location setup clearly.
Start with the business model
- Storefront: customers can visit during stated hours, and the public address should match real-world signage or documents.
- Service-area business: customers are served at their locations, and the address may need to be hidden.
- Hybrid: customers can visit and the business also travels to customers.
Match documents to the current profile
- List every document that shows the business name and address.
- Record whether the document supports the public address, hidden-address setup, or service area.
- Check that the website does not contradict the profile's address or service-area setup.
- Write down what changed before the suspension so the appeal text stays factual.
Keep the appeal narrow
A useful appeal explanation usually says what the business is, how customers interact with it, what address or service-area detail was corrected, and which documents support that profile setup.
This page is independent, not affiliated with Google, and does not predict or guarantee an appeal result.
