Home-service operators
Home service GBP suspension checklist
Home-service profiles often get messy because the business serves customers at their locations, not at a public storefront. Before preparing an appeal, make sure the profile, website, and documents support the same service-area story.
Profile facts to confirm
- The business name is the real business name, not a list of cities or services.
- The address is hidden if customers do not visit the location.
- Service areas match places where the business actually serves customers.
- The primary category matches the core service, not every possible job type.
Evidence to organize
- Registration, license, or insurance documents with the business name.
- Website pages that show matching business name, services, and service areas.
- Redacted invoices, appointment records, or work photos that show real service activity.
- Notes on any profile corrections made before the appeal.
Appeal wording
Keep the explanation short. State what the business is, how customers interact with it, what details were corrected, and which documents support those facts.
